Taxation
Ensure compliances for Direct Taxes which include Income tax, Employee taxation, TDS, computation of income and tax thereon, advance tax projections, analysis and optimisation of tax liability, tax planning, filling of all annual and quarterly returns, reconciliations etc. 
Manage independently direct taxation assessments, hearing and proceedings. Coordinate with consultants for tax litigations at various Appellate authorities and Courts.
Responsible for compliances of Indirect Taxes which include Service Taxes, VAT, monthly reconciliations, monthly/quarterly/annual returns, assessments, notices resolutions etc. 
Ensure calculations, reconciliation and determination of service tax (input credit & output liability) & timely payment

Coordinate and Manage tax audits and regulatory departmental audits (service tax & others).
Recommends the reference of tax matters related to direct & indirect taxation to outside counsel as and when appropriate.
